NEW BEER FOR JANUARY 2020

Happy New Year! We've got lots of great beers coming out for you this January we think you'll love! Our latest new school meets old school Rhinebier will be introduced this month. Old school Mittlefruh hops interplays with new school Mandarina Bavaria hops giving a at the finish. If you haven't tried the new Chuck's Hop Shops collaboration Italian Style Pilsner in Seattle get into our locations as soon as it goes on tap because it won't last long. This pils highlights the up and coming Italian pilsner style originated at Birrificio Italiano in Italy. It's a German Pilsner on steroids! Rye Lager is back, this unique spicy rye beer is rounded out with a creamy finish. Complex, deep golden and medium bodied it's a great light amber lager. Single Hop Lager Centennial will be released this month. Our fourth rendition of the Single Hop Lager series uses one of the most influential PNW hops with aromas of pine, citrus and peach for a solid bitterness, sturdy malt backbone and great hop flavor. And last but not least Schwarz Bier will make a comeback. Black, bitter chocolate, full flavored and smooth it's a great beer for any cold wet day with it's lingering espresso-like aftertaste to pick you up! Here's fair warning of our most important dates in 2020 that are on our calendar. February 14 we have our traditional Sweetheart 3-course Prix Fix Dinner and the tapping and release in bottles of Doppelbock; February 29 is the WA Brewers Open House (both breweries open 1-3 pm with free tour at 1:30); March 14 Chuckanut's celebration for St Pat's Day begins; March 28-April 5 Skagit Farm to Pint Beer Week; April 17-25 Bellingham Beer Week; April 29 Spring Beer Dinner (tickets in advance go on sale April 5); in May watch for Seattle Beer Week events with Chuckanut; May 22-25 Open all of Memorial Day Weekend/Ski to Sea Race; June 19-21 WA Brewers Fest and Beer Awards; July 23 Chuckanut Beer Dinner aboard Schooner Zodiac; September 12 Chuckanut Oktoberfest 1-9 pm at North Nut; November is Feast Month at the Kitchen (closed Thanksgiving Day); Closing early December 6 for Holiday Staff Party; Close early December 24 at North Nut; Closed December 24-25 at South Nut and closed December 25 at North Nut. JANUARY IN THE KITCHEN AT CHUCKANUTTime to come in and warm up with our traditional Split Pea Soup, nothing spells wintertime than this classic hot soup! Enjoy a quick chips & salsa with your .5 Liter glass of beer now! Want a rad sandwich? Try our salmon melt or if you just want a snack try the hot salmon dip with flat bread. Our menu continues to evolve whether it's the tried and true Reuben or something from our specials menu, we've got you covered! Our new winter hours are 11:30-9 Sunday to Thursday and 11:30 to 9:30 Friday-Saturday. South Nut's hours stay the same Monday-Friday 3-7 and Saturday-Sunday 12-7. |
OUT AND ABOUT WITH CHUCKANUTJanuary doesn't have as many events as other months of the year but we'll be at the Ellensburg Winter Hop Beer Fest again on January 18. We'll also have a brewers night at Toggles Bottleshop, the best bottleshop in Everett. Try to stop in to say hi and see us 6-9 pm on January 29. |
