ST PATRICK'S CELEBRATIONS AT CHUCKANUT

Leprechaun season is almost here! Watch for our celebrations including our delicious Irish Dry Stout. This sessionable dark ale is the closest you'll get to a Guinness style dry stout brewed in America! Despite it's dark color this beer with its espresso like flavors and aromas finishes dry and crisp! On March 14 we'll start the celebrations with our presence at the Bellingham St Patrick's Day Parade followed by the Opus Irish Dancers at North Nut at 4:30 pm. We'll be dishing up our traditional Corned Beef & Cabbage and Irish Stew especially on March 17, Tuesday at North Nut where the Irish music starts at 6:30 pm in the covered patio. On St Paddy's Day in the Tap Room at South Nut Irish music will start at 4:30 pm. Stop in and raise a glass in celebration, Cheers!

BEERS FOR MARCH

Welcome to March and with it a whole slew of great tasting ales and lagers!! Marzen Lager (March lager) gets tapped this month. Marzen is a tantalizing amber colored beer with a complicated malt bill and just enough hops to balance out the sweetness for a nice dry finish. If you're looking for an all day kind of beer this spring check out Chuck Light. It's been tested with only 100 calories for every 12 oz pour. Light and refreshing this beer is your next best friend! Irish Dry Stout makes its regular return in time for St Patrick's Day celebrations. Dark, delicious and with a body that surprises you with it's lightness considering how dark it is. Zealander Pilsner collaboration with Zeeks Pizza is tapped and gives you lots of tropical fruit aromas and flavors due to the addition of New Zealand grown hops in a basic Pilsner recipe. Keep your eye out for Dortmunder this month. Dortmund Germany's fuller rendition of Pilsner will delight you for it's rich malt flavors and light hop bitterness. Cheers to spring!

 THE KITCHEN AT CHUCKANUT IN MARCH

We always celebrate Irish inspired food during March in honor of St Paddy's Day. This year is no exception. We'll have our Irish Stew, made with beef  (every year it's different) and our dark beer, then stewed up with veggies for a hearty soup that's nutritious and delicious. Make sure to check out the specials menu to see what's cooking beyond our regular menu. And of course ask about our seasonal Brulee, always a sweet treat to the end of your meal! New to our menu this month are our beer and wine cocktails!

OUT AND ABOUT WITH CHUCKANUT

There's alot to celebrate around the Sound with Chuckanut in March. March 11 Chuckanut will be at Eureka Burger in U Village 6-8 pm for the Find the Pint event. Order Chuckanut beer and win a pint to take home! We'll be in Portland, OR at Belmont Station with our bottles March 25, stop by to say hi. Skagit Farm to Pint Week happens March 28-April 4. Kick off with the Beer Run on March 28 at the Port of Skagit! We'll open early at 11:30 to help thirsty visitors get a beer earlier than usual. Join the free tour at 12:30! March 28- April 4 take a picture of your pup and you at our place and enter it into the Yappy Hour contest! Find rules at https://skagitfarmtopint.com/event/skagit-beer-week-cutest-dog-contest/. And get your tickets soon before they sell out for the Farm To Pint Festival at the Heritage Flight Museum at the Port on Saturday April 4. We'll have our 2 Amigos Dark Mexican Style Lager collaboration paired with Linguisa Sausage and Wild Shrimp Beer Boil from Paellaworks. It's a fun month, get out and be part of it!
