NEW BEERS FOR JULY

Hopefully the warmer weather has arrived and we can enjoy some crispy beers at the Tap Room, Beer Hall and your own backyard! New to Chuckanut in July will be the release of the Cascadia Common. Using our basic Pilsner recipe we have fermented this beer at warmer ale temperatures and shorter lagering time to create a California Common using NW hops. More aromatic and bitter than our regular Pilsner it's sure to refresh you on a hot day. Watch for the return of Chuck Light and Vienna Lager later this summer and if you’re planning a big party and need a standard keg or a small one contact [email protected] or give us a call to find out what’s in stock at South Nut. NEWS FROM P. NUT BEER HALL

P. Nut is planning their Dog Fest billed as Clean Pups, Clean Beers on July 10, Sunday noon-5pm. You Dirty Dog mobile dog groomers will be on hand, discount beers while you wait for your best friend and raffles for fun prizes will be happening all afternoon. The collection of Chuckanut cans in Portland is great but they are going fast. Don't wait to get some, summer is bringing in some thirsty tourists and travelers! July 5 is a Tap Takeover at Birdie Time Pub (indoor mini golf bar down the street from us). Most of all we would love to see you on our patio or in our cool, airconditioned Beer Hall, any day starting at noon.

There's lots going on this month both at the Tap Room and the Beer Hall as well as around town. Clean Pups, Clean Beers at P. Nut, if it's as fun as the Dog Fest at the Tap Room in Skagit last weekend, is a not to be missed event! Don't forget to check out the new NW Tune Up Bike and Beer Festival all weekend long in Bellingham July 8-10, we'll have Chuckanut on tap to keep you hydrated! July 17 is our next Artists Market Craft Pop Up at South Nut and includes the great Oyster Pop Up. They'll be shucking oysters and have them available raw or roasted along with other seafood ( the shrimps were amazing last time). And help celebrate the 100th birthday of the Deception Pass State Park on July 23 with a glass of Chuckanut. Heads up: the Great American Beer Festival tickets go on sale soon!! We'll all be celebrating the 40th year Anniversary of the grand GABF. This year held as usual in Denver (but not in the last couple of years) with more than 350 breweries on hand!

With all our dog events coming up it's time for your pup to get a new Chuckanut Dog Leash! Sturdy and beautiful just like your puppy. And if you want to get something for yourself, while you're at it, pick up a new location specific tshirt. P.
