NEW BEERS FOR OCTOBER

We can safely say Fall is here and in the air. But the weather hasn't gotten the message since we are still enjoying some fairly warm, sunny and dry days. However, we are getting ready for the change. Fest Bier 2022 has been out since last month and what a refreshing golden lager. Easy to drink, with it's malty overtones and balanced hops, a pleasure to enjoy in Liter sized mugs. October will see the release of the ever favorite Single Hop Lager highlighting the brewers choice of hops. This rendition will feature El Dorado with lots of pineapple, melon and stone fruit notes. Look for Single Hop Lager at the end of October. And for the first time Chuckanut will offer a Barrel Aged beer. Our neighbors at Westland Distillery gave us some of their whisky barrels to age beers in last November 2021!! We'll blend up the beer and keg up the Barrel Aged Stout soon. The official release is October 22 at our Fall Harvest Fest!!

NEWS FROM P. NUT BEER HALL

Did you see our new Northwest Mural on the side of P. Nut, we're pretty happy with how fantastic it came out thanks to artist Nori Rinaldo! And we've got our outdoor patio prepped for winter with a new tent so there will be a place to go outside out of the rain. The third exciting mention is that we now have a pair of dartboards at the back of the beer hall! If anyone is interested in a league night on Tuesdays or Wednesdays please stop in or send a message, we'd like to get it going in October. We are looking for 8 teams for 8 weeks! Don't forget we'll be tapping a keller keg of Single Hop Lager in October before the filtered rendition comes out. Make sure to stop in and try it!

NEW HOURS FOR FALL AND EVENTS

Just a reminder that our hours have changed up for Fall & Winter. Please note the new times at the bottom of this newsletter. Our big event for October will be the Fall Harvest Fest at both South Nut and P. Nut. At P. Nut in Portland we'll be tapping the barrel aged Stout plus we'll have a food pop up for those that are hungry. At South Nut we'll have the barrel aged Stout tapping as well as an artist pop up market, food vendors (Sly & Son Sourdough, the Waffle Lady with Nut butters and hot waffles) plus the plant truck and Boldly Grown Farms pumpkins and veggies. Both events will take place noon to 5 pm! We'll also be at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver October 6-8. Chuckanut will be on tap at selected accounts around the Denver area during the festival time!
