SEPTEMBER IS OKTOBERFEST MONTH

Yes it's almost here, the moment we wait for all year, the Chuckanut Oktoberfest! We'll be celebrating at both South Nut in Skagit and P. Nut in Portland starting at noon on Saturday, September 9. There will be Oktoberfest beer flowing into liter mugs along with the other usual German beers including Kolsch, Helles Lager, Dunkel Lager, and Bavarian IPA (BIPA). Of course other favorite Chuckanut beers along with hard cider, wine, sodas and more will be available. Food at P. Nut includes Sazon Michoacano Taco Truck  and our friends Pacific Smoked Fish. At South Nut our neighbors The Skagit Landing will dish up brats while The Pop Up Oyster Bar will sling their local seafood. And don't forget all the games and contests to keep you entertained all afternoon. Better find your Dirndles and Lederhosen if you want to join the costume contest!

P. Nut is keeping the can cooler stocked as we move into fall. You never know when a Chuckanut beer will hit the spot so stock up! Oktoberfest at P. Nut is a simple affair and we make it easy to stop in and throw your Liter Hold time into the ring. Get something special to eat from the Sazon Michoacan Taco Truck and Pacific Ice guys while you're there. And don't forget to pick up a new hat or hoodie to show your Chuckanut love as we move into fall.

SEPTEMBER EVENTS ON SITE AND AROUND THE AREA

September is the month of Chuckanut's Oktoberfest celebrations and this year it's on September 9. Contests include Costumes, Hammerschalgen, Liter Holding and Yodeling! The corn hole will be out all day plus other activities including the Chicken Dance at South Nut. September 15 is the Community Pizza Night at King Arthur Baking School, bring your pizza down to Chuckanut to eat and get $1 off your pint. If you are at the GABF in Denver stop by our table, we'll be sampling Chuckanut September 21-23. Keller Night continues at P. Nut September 29 in Portland. We'll be pouring Chuckanut Fest Bier at the Structures Oktoberfest that same night 5-8 pm in Bellingham. September 30 ends the month with the Farm to Pint Fest in La Conner, WA 1-6 pm. Come show your support for our Skagit farming community. We'll have a special bite from the Skagit Landing to pair with our Japanese Style Lager!
