WHAT'S BREWING IN JUNE

Summer Pale Ale is coming! On the solstice we'll be tapping the 2024 Summer Pale Ale both locations. This year our Summer Pale Ale is bursting with citrus, orange, lime and grapefruit aromatics due to the use of Centennial and Chinook NW hops with a backbone of Simpsons Golden Promise malts. Summer Pale is the perfect patio sipper for hot summer days! We're also tapping Schwarzbier in the month of June. Even though the color is dark Chuckanut Schwarzbier is deliciously crisp on the finish! May the Schwarz be with you! Ask for these at your favorite watering hole and if you want cans come on over to P. Nut or South Nut.

NEWS FROM P. NUT BEER HALL

Yes it's actually happening, a full time Food Truck at our P. Nut called Street Dogos. And it's dishing up Mexican style Street food, including a Sonoran style hot dog wrapped in bacon, slathered with Guacamole sauce, grilled onions and more 7 days a week. If your not into dogs you can also get some tacos, nachos, tortas, ceviche and other Mexican snack foods. Make sure to visit during Portland Beer Week June 14-23. We'll host two events: Kolsch Style Service Night Tuesday June 18 from 5-8pm; and Blinded By The Light Lagers on Thursday June 20 at 5pm. For BBTLL we'll have light lagers from our friends at Von Ebert, 10 Barrel Brewpub, Crux, and Great Notion along with Chuckanut's Chuck Light. It will be a night of exploring light lagers to find the one you think shines the most light!

JUNE EVENTS ON SITE AND AROUND THE AREA

Yay for summer!! Wow we are out and about this June and we have a fair amount of special events happening at P. Nut and South Nut. June 1 we'll be at the prestigious Firestone Walker Invitational in Paso Robles. P. Nut will celebrate Portland Beer Week with 2 great event on June 18 and 20. Find Chuckanut Kolsch at the Edgefield Brewfest in Portland and the WA Brewers Fest in Seattle (at the Seattle Center) both the weekend of June 22-23. Community Pizza Night at King Arthur Baking School at the Port of Skagit has returned the last Friday of the month. Bring your pizza over to Chuckanut and get $1 off your pint! At the end of June enjoy Chuckanut at the Punk in Drublic beer-music fest in Portland. Don't forget to mark your calendars into the future for our Sweet Sixteen Garden Party on July 27 at both locations to celebrate our 16th year of Chuckanut. And Chuckanut's infamous Oktoberfest is happening September 14. You'll definitely want to make it over to P. Nut or South Nut for these two events. And don't forget that South Nut has their open hours extended an additional hour from Memorial Day weekend until Oktoberfest. That means we are open at South Nut until 8 every night during our warmer, brighter months.
