WHAT'S BREWING IN FEBRUARY

February is a great month for new batches of some of our favorite beers. That includes some of our biggest medal winners including Helles Lager, most recently the 2023 Bronze World Beer Cup winner, Dunkel Lager, winner of multi GABF & World Beer Cup medals and Vienna Lager another multiple medal winner at most all the contests we enter it into. If you're looking for some tasty lager beers these are some of the best in the world all originating in Germany and Austria. Heads up we'll have some of them at the Skagit Landing & Chuckanut Beer Dinner at the Port of Skagit on March 7 at 5:30. Contact Skagit Landing for more info.

NEWS FROM P. NUT BEER HALL

 Big news is our celebration of Leap Year is happening on February 29 and we need YOU! Get a team of up to 4 people together to compete in our jigsaw puzzle contest by contacting [email protected] or stop in to sign up. Each team will be working on the same puzzle and the first one to finish takes home the puzzle and gets a prize. If you show up at 5 pm we'll be tapping a couple of Gravity Kegs and the pints of beer from them are $3.66 each (get it?). We're seeing more groups use our private TV room in the back of the hall for their gatherings. If you're interested in using our space send [email protected] an email to make your request.

FEBRUARY EVENTS ON SITE AND AROUND THE AREA

There's lots to celebrate in February including Valentine's Day and the Superbowl. Make sure to stop in and pick up your favorite Chuckanut beer in cans or if your having a big celebration we've got kegs too. The infamous SKA_COM (SKAgit and whatCOM) Seed Exchange is here this Saturday February 3 from 12-4 pm at South Nut. We've expanded into our new storage area where there's lots of inside space for the master gardeners and seed exchangers. There's also a Fix It Fair where you can get jewelry and small appliances repaired, knives sharpened and vendors with garden related products. Tecatitlan Taco Truck and Watertank Bakery will have food for purchase. Come early so you have enough time to check everything out. Night of the Helles at Kulshan's K2 is happening again, this year on February 17. We'll be at one of our favorite Beer fests in Seattle, Hops & Props on February 24 at the Boeing Flight Museum. It's Leap Year and P. Nut is celebrating with a Puzzle Hustle and more while South Nut is mixing it up with a wine tasting. The Leap Year celebrations are of course on February 29th.
