Reddish-gold, plum and toffee

Description

Originally brewed as a collaboration with our friends at North Fork Brewery this Chuckanut Barleywine is a mash-up of American and English styles. An obvious hop presence helps to balance the sweetness of Vienna malts but not over power the warming palate and dry finish.

Food Pairing

Grilled meats, especially steaks, pork chops, and lamb chops are very good with this strong beer. This is an evening sipper. With lots of wine flavors, fruit and toffee, Chuckanut Barleywine is for contemplative sipping in a goblet!
