Chuckanut believes and carries out many sustainable practices to help keep our earth healthy and be kind to nature. We conserve water usage by recirculating the heated water from our heat exchanger into our hot water liquor tank and use for our next brew. Our high tech computer system saves on energy of both our brewers and electric. We use variable speed pumps that require less energy to run and is better for our beer making. Our use of spunding devices to recirculate the natural CO2 developed in the fermentation process to save on CO2 and carbon use! And Chuckanut has been very involved and a firm believer in the Towards Zero Waste recycling program from inception at both facilities.
Chuckanut Brewery believes in supporting our community by giving and hosting events that raise awareness of all the good people out there taking care of us all! Every year we donate to large and small groups either through gift certificates or donations.
